About the Role

The Sales Operations Analyst role is about supporting development and application of business insights to help the sales team work better and to grow sales reporting to the Director, Sales Operations. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for working with Territory Managers (TMs) and Sales Management on their operational matters. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, daily management of Sales Force size and structure, alignment, targeting, incentive compensation, data reporting and analytics, CRM, and PDMA compliance.


Responsibilities

* Find and analyze information (including raw data) on prescription volumes, sales promotional efforts, territory alignments, call universe and other information, pertinent to the business.

* Assist in creation of various reports for the sales force and internal stakeholders

* Monitor KPIs and offer insights and recommendations focused on preventing inefficiencies

* Conduct Quality Control of the data and reports

* Fulfill information requests in a timely and accurate manner

* Co-lead in training of sales force

* Essential sales force initiatives:

o Territory (re-)alignment

o Targeting

o Incentive compensation (development and administration)

o PDMA compliance

* CRM/SFA lead, which includes Sales Force business rules and territory administration (e.g., roster, HCP, and alignment changes)


Required Qualification & Skills

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

* Minimum 2-3+ years' experience working in prior Business Analytics or Sales Operations

* Experience and proven knowledge/understanding of pharmaceutical industry's data

* Good analytical abilities

* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy required

* Strong oral, written and presentation skills

* Ability to work in a 'hands-on' analytics capacity in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

* Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

* Good interpersonal and time management skills

* Good knowledge of mathematics, including understanding of statistics

* Technical skills:

o Power BI, advanced knowledge, and experience

o Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint - advanced level

o SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, MySQL, or similar language) - basic knowledge and experience

* Strong knowledge and experience with CRM systems, Salesforce.com and/or Veeva are preferred
