Job Description:

Licensed therapists in Tennessee (TN license or reciprocity) or ELIGIBILE TO BE LICENSED IN TN needed for Virtual Clinic at Centerstone. Focus is on commercial clients with targeted evidence-based interventions. Flexibility in scheduling. Ability to manage your smaller caseload and see clients more frequently to move more quickly toward successful discharge. 100% Remote and Fully virtual; all equipment provided.

The Virtual Clinic at Centerstone was created in 2021 to give clients more immediate access to virtual care by a licensed provider and provide an opportunity for therapists to work in a remote setting with greater scheduling flexibility.

What does the Virtual Clinic do that is different than other clinics within Centerstone?

All therapists are fully licensed and paneled with multiple insurance companies.

Therapists are held to the same productivity standards as all Centerstone therapists. They maintain caseloads that are significantly smaller than most clinics but are expected to see clients more frequently. Productivity is pro-rated for those clinicians working less than 40 hours.

The focus of care in the Virtual Clinic is on targeted treatment with evidence-based treatments scheduled at a minimum of every two weeks with a high priority on weekly therapy. The hope is that with frequent and targeted treatment clients will get better quickly and be discharged from therapy. This allows us to bring on new clients as others leave successfully.

Care plans are set for 3 months instead of 6 months to keep us focused on targeted care.

All incoming clients are prescreened using 4 assessments: PHQ-9/PHQ-A, GAD-7, AUDIT, and DAST 10 prior to intake. Therapists update these assessments at least monthly for clients who have relevant symptoms and diagnoses.

Who can use the Virtual Clinic? The Virtual Clinic is available to any client with commercial insurance who has personal access to internet and the use of Zoom. Clients are screened for their ability to access and use Zoom prior to intake.

What ages does the clinic serve? Taking into account appropriateness for the virtual setting, we serve clients of all ages.

Responsibilities Include:

Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and progress notes according to company policy

Provide excellent customer service for clients and coordinate care with other Centerstone providers

Utilize evidence-based practices in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals

Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol

For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week

Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical providers and school staff as needed

Attend and participate in biweekly staff meetings and ongoing required trainings

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates are required to have a master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university

Candidates should have clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC-MSHP, LCSW) in TN

Required experience with completing treatment plans and clinical progress notes

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain profession appearance on video platforms , adhere to confidentiality with private work space during all video calls and uphold HIPAA standards at all times

Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients

Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base

Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (myAvatar experience a plus!)

Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels- but not required before hiring- our credentialing team will work to get your paneled!

Education Level

  • This position requires a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health, or related field.

Certification/Licensure

LCSW, LPC with MHSP, or LMFT with MHSP required.

$51,189.00--$63,835.00
