MUST:
Experienced Dental Receptionist

Must have 3 plus years of Dental Receptionist experience
Must have experience working with Dentrix
Must have experience working with Dental insurance
Must have experience creating and presenting treatment plans
Must have scheduling experience
Must have payment posting experience
Must have collections experience


DUTIES:
Dental Receptionist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Greet new patients to the practice and facilitates
Assist with the management of work schedules and work assignments
Ensuring all telephone calls are answered, returned, and/or closed properly

Verifying that all messages (voicemails, emails, etc.) are checked in a timely manner with appropriate distribution of email responses, faxes and reports
Present treatment plans to patients
Ensuring that all patient insurance is verified and recorded accurately
Help new patients by sending out forms, greet them at their first visit, and answer follow up questions about treatment
Confirming that patient deductibles, co-pays, balances, referrals, pre-certifications, and any other documents are obtained as required; and that any necessary authorizations are noted accurately in each patient's registration

Ensuring advanced preparation of all patient records for scheduled appointments, verifying completeness and readiness for each provider.
Make appointments and present fees
Input information into patient records
Maintain records by updating account information

Providing Customer Service with incoming and outgoing patients
Schedule Next appointment - Re-care/Restorative
Handle all submission of claims, including Pre-Authorizations

Confirming appointments
Prepare treatment plans
Patient Filing of records etc.
Compiling and reconciling daily Claims/Finance
Understands, complies with, and enforces policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and OSHA and HIPAA privacy rules.
Customer/Patient relationship provided daily on previous day's treatment
Preparing New Patient Packets

Ability to handle a multi-line inbound phone calls
Use a computer efficiently and effectively
Ability to perform administrative duties

Check patients in and out
Collection of co-pays Verify patient insurance
Schedule appointments both in person and over the phone
Communicate with office staff to keep everyone on time and help out where needed
