We are seeking an Full-Time Outpatient Therapist to join our team at our program in Philadelphia County/Mt. Airy, 19119.

HYBRID WORK IS AVAILABLE!

Earn $52,000 to $55,000/year based on education, experience, and professional license.

Position Details

The Outpatient Therapist is a salaried position and primary member of the adult behavioral health outpatient treatment team in a Merakey Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing intake evaluations and individual therapy to both adults and children/adolescents. The position is also responsible for completing all necessary clinical documentation, including (but not limited to) treatment plans, therapy notes, incident reports, behavioral health screenings, follow-up interventions, as well as making referrals and coordinating care with other providers as appropriate.

As a member of the outpatient treatment team, the Outpatient Therapist initiates, maintains, and promotes the active engagement of clients in treatment wherein individuals can learn to live well with their mental health diagnosis. The Outpatient Therapist is expected to provide a minimum of 100 billable service hours each month at an average of 25 hours per week.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Master's degree required (license preferred) in a related field of Human Services, including but not limited to Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or Human Development.
  • 1-year clinical internship required.
  • Required to provide a minimum of 100 billable service hours each month - an average of 25 hours per week.
  • 1 year of clinical experience post graduate working with mental health and co-occurring populations is preferred.
  • Group therapy experience, or willing to be trained, in one or more Evidenced Based Practice skill sets preferred.
