We are currently seeking a Director of Compliance to join the Ingenix Compliance team to assist in managing the daily operations of the Ingenix Compliance department. We seek an individual with a solid compliance background managing a complex business support operation to take on this highly-visible role which offers the opportunity to play an integral part in our compliance program. Primary responsibilities of the Compliance Director include:

* Managing core compliance program elements of the Ingenix Compliance Program.
* Collaborating with Compliance Liaison staff to ensure analysis and resolution for identified compliance issues.
* Working closely with Ingenix Payment Cycle Management business that supports payment and revenue cycle management functions for both health care providers and health care payers.
* Work with Compliance Liaison staff to ensure an effective compliance monitoring program.
* Act as project manager and expert for identified systemic issues to ensure timely resolution and implementation of corrective action plans.
* Develop new standards, policies and procedures; refine existing policies and procedures where appropriate and take actions to improve processes and reporting capabilities.
* Coordinate compliance activities for multiple business areas.
* Provide consultative expertise, guidance and promote compliance with laws, regulations and contractual requirements.
* Ensure appropriate support is provided for compliance program implementation, Q&A, operational issue risk analysis / recommendations / resolution and implementation oversight.
* Work closely with leadership positions across Ingenix to build and maintain an effective compliance program, identify trends, patterns and manage identified issues to ensure resolution and regulatory/contractual compliance.
* Implement standard policies, procedures, processes and best practices across Ingenix to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.
* Act as a key contributor in development and implementation of segment-wide strategies to maintain regulatory and contractual compliance.
*Assess progress and report key results and the status of overall compliance initiatives to management.
* Recommend and participate in the development of training and education programs for employees.
* Partner with the Data Governance organization to ensure effective implementation and alignment.

Qualifications
Requirements include:
  • Extensive experience in compliance program management
  • Experience implementing health care related regulatory frameworks including, but not limited to: HIPAA, CMS Medicare and Medicaid, Stark law, Anti-Kickback statute, state privacy laws, FTC Red Flag rules, PCI.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or JD) a plus
  • Compliance relevant certifications (CIPP, CHC, etc) a plus
  • Demonstrated experience excelling in a matrixed environment
  • Extensive experience in managed care, government programs and information technology
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Experience leading company monitoring and process review initiatives
  • Ability to identify root cause issues and ensure appropriate action
  • Solid HIPAA Privacy knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
